Cadillac CTS

One of the ones valiantly, "Taking dead aim at BMW."  They're doing a great job, but is it a Cadillac?  They were raced at one time, so who knows?  Caddies are off the radar for me.

The Mexican Car Market: A short series that's too long

Peugeot!  I remember when they were in the US.  Their cars were a bit odd looking, but luxurious and functional once you got inside.  The few people I knew who had them loved them.  The strike against them was that they never bothered to build a service network.  Outside of places like Los Angeles, owning one was a major headache.

The second one from the bottom has a Dodge Attitude behind it.

3 Identical Cadillacs!

Well, they do look different, what with the different color paint and everything.  Well, there are other differences.  Any excuse for a series.  From left to right, that's the CTS, ATS and XTS.  Ah, the stuff of dreams.

Mexico on Two Wheels

Mexico's market for two wheeled vehicles diverges much more sharply from the US.  There is far less overlap than there is with the car market.  The top is from Italika, which is number 1 in Mexico and has a presence in much of Latin America.  The second motorcycle is from the Qianjiang Group Ltd.  While the question is often asked about when China will export cars to follow its motorcycles, no one asks when a Mexican car company might emerge.  Mexico is a major car manufacturer.  The bicycles are from Benotto, an Italian company that moved to Mexico decades ago.  The double-top tube model drove me crazy, until I saw that they were lots of them.  It's just a retro trend.
